TINT YOUR WINDSHIELD
I did this on a Acura TL back in 2012 and it was great! Keeps the sun from beating down on you and keeps the interior of your car cooler. Now don't get me wrong there are some drawbacks. If you get pulled over you are probably going to get a ticket and will be forced to remove the tint on the front windshield.
I can tell you this I will run the rixk of getting pulled over with a tinted front windshield cause the benefits outweigh the consequences.
Just be careful when you get it installed. I do not recommend going darker than 30% on the film you use. I have seen 50% done and it makes it very, very difficult to see at night. Keeper it at 30% or lighter. In tinting terms, the lower the number the darker the film. 5% is limo while 20% is very light. So keep that in mind as well.
I have heard horror stories about the clear films 3M offers, there is a glare at night from on coming vehicles with their lights on. So I would stay away from clear films. Just use the lightest tinted film your installer offers.
I highly recommend it and it makes a huge difference with heat and sun being in Southern California. I can only image the immprovement it would make in a city like Las Vegas or Phoenix, AZ. Good Luck 041219
